Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy said, “Before April 2019, around 2.45 crore vehicles had been registered, of which approximately 2 crore vehicles are active. Between August 18, 2023, and February 12, 2024, around 18,32,787 vehicles have obtained HSRP. This means only 9.16% of vehicles in the state have acquired HSRP so far.”
