51-year-old man charged with rape in Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) -- Police in Johnson City arrested a man for having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 17.
According to a news release, the Johnson City Police Department charged 51-year-old Craig S. Harvey with rape in the third degree and criminal sexual act in the third degree, both felonies.
Authorities said Harvey was taken to central arraignment and remanded to the Broome County Jail on $500 bail.
There may be additional charges, police said.
