AGonzales Role: Program Officer, Mexico & Caribbean Country: United States I have over 13 years of experience working in the international environmental field. I currently work as a Program Officer for Mexico and the Caribbean Region, two competitive grants programs of the International Affairs Program of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service). In this capacity, I am responsible for ensuring the technical soundness and effective execution of a wide array of projects and multi-year cooperative agreements aimed at protecting endangered species and high-value ecosystems in Mexico and the Caribbean. Areas of expertise include: species conservation, community-based conservation, capacity building, conservation planning.
