ALEXANDRIA — Bob Hardy, known as the walker runner, completed a full 10-kilometre course along Alexandria trails Sunday, beating his personal record set after a recent injury.
Hardy, 70, is know for his marathons, and has stayed the course even after battling leukemia. A few weeks ago, Hardy was presented with another obstacle to his 50-kilometre walker-run planned for Sunday: sciatica.
