FRANKLIN -- In a celebration of diversity that puts the spotlight on those who otherwise can feel relegated to the shadows, the Dean College Black Student Union is presenting its 4th Annual Dean College Black Excellence Showcase online this year.
The showcase is now available to view on the Black Student Union's YouTube channel.
"The event showcases the amazing talents of students here at Dean College. The event was originally created to provide representation for those who felt they were not properly able to showcase their talents," said DJ Whaley, president of the Black Student Union (BSU).
He said the show has now grown to be "one of the most prominent showcases of culture and diversity at Dean."
