European Commission approves €28B for US-led clean energy projects

The European Commission has approved €28 billion for the US-led Clean Energy demonstration challenge, to support the commercialisation of new technologies and accelerate the energy transition. The announcement was made on 23 September in Pittsburgh at the first Global Clean Energy action forum, which brought together ministers from around the world.
