The Bengaluru city traffic police data shows that traffic police north division had the highest numbers of accidents, 724, followed by 576 cases in the west division. The north division recorded 145 deaths and the west recorded 103 deaths in six months. Considering that overall, 416 deaths were reported in the city in road accidents, both jurisdictions contributed about 60 percent to the total death pool.
