We dont expect those daytime highs to get quite as height as they did yesterday regardless though would i call this a carbon copy when it comes to how oppressive it will feel. We will begin with breaking newt out of northeast philadelphia, this morning three, people are killed in the bustleton section earlier this morning. Police suspect they may have been drag racing at the time of the crash. Eyewitness News Reporter justin finch is live with more details on that story justin, good morning. Reporter good morning. Police tell us several families will be devastated this morning. We know three people lost their lives, one is in extremely Critical Condition at the hospital. Victims here are young between 18 late teens and also into their early 20s. All for traveling in this car here that was split in half by impact of this crash. Lets get to you video here police say all four were traveling in what was an acura tl here, two people in front two people in back, traveling at a high rate of speed on sandmeyer lane. They crashed in the tree. Police say impact split that car nearly perfectly in half. This happened at 11 50 last night, a witness heard the crash and called police. Once they arrived they see scene was chaotic here and they say one victim had been eject from the crash, three others were cut from the vehicle. It is unclear if the second car was involved and that remains part of their investigation this morning take a listen. Right now we dont know, we are trying go to recover some video right now from the construction site, owners of the property to see if there was another car that was involved, with this drag race. Right now we dont know we cannot confirm that there was another car involved. Reporter what police know is there is no indication that alcohol or drugs played a role in this crash. They are gathering surveillance as you heard from this business here, certificate valley contractors to try to determine if the second car was involve and what other factors played a role in the deadly crash this morning.
