In 38 wards where two vehicles are being sent to collect wet and dry waste separately, as part of the new system, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is seeing anywhere between 1 per cent and 39 per cent segregation in 27 wards. The remaining nine wards still collect mixed waste from both bulk generators and the houses.
