Former deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Thatikonda Rajaiah, resigns from the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. Rajaiah, a four-time MLA, joined the TRS party in 2011 after starting his political career with the INC. He served as the Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister of Telangana but was removed from his post due to his failure in preventing the spread of swine flu.
