Independence referendum was promised for the following year but never happened the sarai have been living in limbo for decades and the women have now taken it upon themselves to clear the mines from the land they hope to return soon. We traveled to meet these courageous women but get in there was no easy task as we were about to discover. Who dropped off in the middle of nowhere. This is algeria near the border tens of thousands of refugees left here. This would be our new home for about three days while we waited for permission to cross the border. Even the saudis have been here for over forty years now. They dont bother with cosmetic maintenance because they never expected to be here this long. At the time we had more pressing issues like finding water. Not easy when you dont speak the language and its the first day of ramadan. Hello. Hello. Do you speak english. Espanol. See. The smile and see the smile for those although spread out. Well this will fall i expect that. Were. Going to put up with ok good as. The night there are not to be a lot of the latter a lot of me here so yeah i do stand. On the style of most. Its a compliment to the feels. Somehow i always. Know its the political to the sick of the most of the system and of the species. In the. House and its to. Give us whatever they want but i think you can see it in a sense here that somehow i would. Get us through it. Did i was that a simple. Test. They get having said. Ive never in ten minutes actually any get the word out in the circle prep on me that. The last couple of guests matter. Is small but theyve had enough its true that their stuff out of the night it somehow left in this stuff. Is tough some of. This stuff. At times. Better. And. I tend to get it in the news you just use the simple stuff in florida and its funny you know from some on the air to be could enable she took a city near them within these three years or so i just i mean move and sell at the cost of colonists. And they. Have no photos there to follow it isnt forwarded to me that he even in the course of their perception of him from salute to some of the fulfilling to. Him in a motorcade didnt put you know its going to be for its own for what is it good to continue. Into little circle six or eight. County poor suffering. We have a problem we have known i assume got to be avoided david did i know you got it right no no im done no its a got a photo of him and in there. At least we knew where the shops were now and had a better idea of where we were but still no news regarding the permissions across the border. I three days turned into a week and it felt like forever we started out some would ever get to Western Sahara but then we got the call weve been waiting for the polish sign affronts had arranged the car and security for us. So at six am we were off. In order to get to Western Sahara you have to pass a number of checkpoints and cheery and mauritania security here is tight dozens of foreigners were kidnapped and held for ransom in the last decade so theyre not taking any chances but that didnt stop us from having the little white suv eat in the middle of the desert where our guards turned into sheriffs. Drive superior leslie lasted about six hours we finally arrived or more looking forward to meeting our female to miners this used to be a hospital but now it houses the norwegian then geo that started the modern operations in twenty fifteen at the request of the government. It was. Headed out to a potential mine field to see how its done there are sixty of the miners in total who are split into two teams four of them are girls theres always a doctor in an ambulance on standby i was curious to see how the girls would cope. In the desert heat. Only mad. So i. Said. I can. Do that. An incentive by the. Senate. Meant when i won. By the. Hairs matter back in the camps three hundred thirty kilometers away above us parents cant wait for her to come home safe and sound she works for nine weeks at a time and they spend every one of them foreign about her. Would come in the. Study with method with just a. Lot of counseling. Without either somehow lets call it imo so i got my work tomorrow mama. Will go south. Cultural so it will. Come back a modern system. A little. More. Conversation i dont have a clue what a lot of what. Men fill with someone who lost a couple how to almost all hop off. One more fuck up talk a little one. And i dont know who started it im back again. But i could say im so but i will. Be sure. That im going more fuck up more of their shots. You know what i. Want to sing the songs. Of math. And method and havent has it as i have. A. Kid the left one. Has an interest in the. Music in a minute. Im going to quit hunting income since. Its on the. Land mines have injured more than one and a half thousand people here since two thousand and twelve third of the. Heavily mined area is along the socalled moral kind of wall it was built in the one nine hundred eighty says a buffer between moroccan forces in the west and the polish sorry of france in the east its twenty seven hundred kilometers long runs all the way through Western Sahara and the surrounded by almost nine million land mines. And even any other one. And then he. And you can how do i knew then how. Last time i was time to. Go so i did and just end of the head and i know trying to. Go along. When you dont. See the. Dead according. To the most true only ten space. Left in the. Said. Claiming to know german did especially to. You speak french. Looks new. The bill told c. N. N. Heres what people have been saying about rejected in the senate is the long lost of the only show i go out of my way to launch you know a lot of the really packed a punch oh yeah mr john oliver of our three americans do the same we are apparently better than the blue nothings and see people youve never heard of love back to the night my president of the world bank so very. Seriously he sent us an email. Seems wrong all along just dont call. Me. To shape our. Active. And engaged because betrayal. When so many find themselves worlds apart we choose to look for common ground. Ive played for many clubs over the years so i know the game inside out. Football isnt only about what happens on the pitch put the final school its about the passion from the fans its the age of the superman each kill the narrowness and spending two hundred twenty million on one player. But its an experience like nothing else i want to because i want to share what i think what i know about the beautiful game but great so one more chance for. The base this minute. Theres an impression. That some autumn to school having a blast. Even though most of her always floods there are few who chose to return not their own risk to go to the camps in algeria especially when it gets really hot but mostly they live here when this when the local look. Them up on a. Lot of the other women end up at the wood theyre going to are not inside it. When the muzzle has to be on it. Was welcome on her with looking. At them in the movie. Started. Liking. Many of them had hundreds and. Chris about. Them in the hall and that was it had to i mean i got a lot of riddles and i think i didnt. Let anybody go to limit let me. Just. Give them a little. Lesson that it. Should. If you need to do it with ninety million men. In it to feel. A little. Younger you. Control how to. Tell me that this way. Still flat. To your clothes but. Most of the so what i. Hear about. The. Sheets. I dont know how to. Move out of. To me. The only good news with. Evil. Mannish are many. Fairly to listen to all there. Is. Not a vanity deal at all any article the idea of someone i guess. You are you know how all of. These men now help educate others on the dangers of land mines they told us that a few days before we arrived a shepherd from mauritania had been injured by a mine because like so many others he simply didnt know what they look like where they might be. What makes matters worse is that the miners have only recently started recording the areas theyve cleared but even that is no guarantee because weve been told that rain and wind can sometimes cause mines to shift. Why does morocco want to land so badly here month. Very year. Here. We have. Sarah. William and mary snow. When you. Start fresh. For. Our office. You heard of whoa really bad. Back of the demining us house the girls are out of their uniforms and getting ready to break their fast. They told me that even though it gets boring here at least theres television air conditioning and the shower they called it the luxury of the desert. You. Ok lisa to listen to typing on a c n n. Yes yes yes yes i think that its necessary theyre suspicious most. Of us are perfectly truthful so distant exceptions its a matter. Of minutes him to some go. Even though. I feel free to vent she has a she gets too close. To. The whole of the whole sort. Of hollywood. That we saw by the house. Where the movie. Had to salute go out of the roof out of mysterious through the mess of good. Stead riddick was it at the pent up demand side but there must be some hope of that. And it would be the death star that it. Coming up remember. Your system with the assistance here. And im sorry he said i meant. And of course i thought. It was a little someone would be so one of the things is you know where this. Is coming the troops are going to see us started to. Accept that. It was time for us to leave and almost heading home early so we offered her a lift to the camps in algeria. She. Says. This is nice. Its a. Kid when its air. That im going to. I mean that its go on and its going to. Last so sad im concerned. Test and. That i was and. You think. Her always are banking on the independence referendum and its become clear to us that they wont give up until they get exactly what they want. To. Move to the middle. Of the. Studies. To make good music not only that the old daughter in the. Appropriate house will. Meet in a neutral this is a. Somehow all of that shes ended up on the want to eat. One of the best or im not this one and more to say we. All know its disaster and im sure someone will find that of the opinion of most of the few. That. You know. We. Have practiced everything else. Oh yeah i did it and. He says. This is largely our local guy in the northeast extraordinary he hopes that the Younger Generation doesnt get seduced by an easier more modern life abroad thats why hes keen to show them that a different world is possible but closer to home. And then hand it in ive been to many not so much men and the head of that this would be my new doctor about a new doubt about that it tells them that if they do i. Could. Never. Get on i dont summon. You get dont know for a lot you know i know ive no idea its never been from the edge ive never been out of a senate for goes on id. Say your ass is. You know my meteoric is so all my dear with her youre cool youre cool and well you have to feel that it is that it is sad of course to see that till you see him especially at h. S. B. C. That is so small so smooth that some specific system till now. Stresses. Snapped. Into a sad face as soon. As i did recently swing. About your sudden passing ive only just learned you were a south and taken your last to bang turn. Your attitude up to you as we all knew it would i tell you im sorry for me i could so i write these last words in hopes to put to rest these things that i never got off my chest.
