Synchronised Elephant Population Estimate in Karnataka's Borders

A three-day synchronised elephant population estimation exercise will be conducted from May 23 in Karnataka's 10 forest divisions, bordering Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. The effort, involving extensive fieldwork and data analysis, aims to manage human-elephant conflict in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.
