Exclusive Basement Jaxx red alert forces radio how Leno How's it going I was these at the Brit It's Thursday the 13th of October not quite as I'm lucky as Friday the 13th you never know. Just in case. Minutes past 2 o'clock. And then the same from. 8 degrees and then as we go. Again more. Clouds and rain expected for the. Saturday afternoon to right around 15 degrees. Currently at 5 and 6 degrees you are expecting some snow for overnight and. We get some really good weather as we go into next week tired we. Are going to get back to really really. Bad. Music for this hour some of my favorite. As well as your math weekend. All very good. Busy for. This too. Featuring. For you. Something Gomez featuring a setback in Rocky good for you I'm still trying to get whatever going on in the up stairs part of my brain to actually correspond with what comes out of my mouth. I'm struggling a little bit now we've been talking about your hands and apparently fingers saying a lot about your personality and. Now I am a little bit confused as to how come when I look at my hands palm my index finger you know you point the finger is longer than my ring finger but when I turn my hand over there the same time it's so there's some sort of weird magic thing going on there I'm kind of curious to see if anybody else happens to this or Vince maybe just the effects of the cold medication the left and that's why I think things are now just being of the rabbit on the other hand one's actually shorter than me. So weird I may need to cut back on the cold medication. I mean bit yeah if your index finger is longer than your ring finger parent you are supposed to lower testosterone levels and are likely to be worse at sports though better at verbal memory tasks like remembering lists of words and unfortunately you're more likely to be anxious or depressed now if you're were exposed to higher testosterone levels before you were born your index finger should be shorter than your ring finger and you will be better at sports and better at rotating a complicated object in your mind kind of those sort of things at but unfortunately you're more likely to develop Haiti h.d. Autism or even treads so Norwegian doctors apparently have discovered that the in the size of your fingers actually correlates to some of the personality traits that you maybe have and yeah I guess maybe the men probably I would see him then have longer index fingers and things like that so I guess we'll have to wait and see if you're good though at sports check your fingers it might be down to exactly what your fingers are like apparently mine are just magic fingers for today because they are different sizes when I turn them over back and forth. I know maybe cut back on the cold medication lately guy has got a brand new tune I absolutely love it is called Perfect a lesion. This. Is the way. That changed her life it's all about small changes to help make us and our families healthier like a lot of food contains more sugar the might think and eating too much can make us put on weight which may lead to heart disease type 2 diabetes and even cancer making sure swaps is a great way to stay healthy and it's so simple instead of sweets salt them for fruit and fizzy drinks Try know I did sugar or sugar free ones just check the label it's easy to be food smart for more help with sugar swaps such change for life unlike bike every kid with Habbush in hand how it's be a single I lack self belief and became a beautician non-musician 18 I decided to give my life a make over and I joined the Royal Navy it's homage to Ma with my harms not to mention my Had I always thought I'd be a pop star but it turns out the ship's the perfect stage for me to fall into my potential and then go beyond it and Sally Bonnie Manchester made in the Royal Navy start your journey so. I don't know my own a fake. Kid a macaw. Up that is the weekend Daft Punk star boy. The we can just really cannot do no wrong 2016 has definitely been his year and I have some fantastic teams coming his way proudly to say he has actually Canadian. Oh the only thing is like he is really gorgeous in the face and whatever but the hair just puts me off a little bit it's got these like dreads but maybe braids but they kind of sit on his head just you're never sure if it's I had when I 1st initially said See My thought is that like really different sort of woolly hat that he's got on no it's his hair and I think he's like he's beautiful in the face and things it's just the hair puts me off and maybe that's because I'm a little bit old school as and maybe even to the military a little bit too long where short haircuts just are my sort of thing. I did visit my brother this weekend and I don't see him overly often it was Easter time that I saw him last as. He's very young looking for being. Turned 36 back in September and he is quite young looking people do assume he's probably about 2324 someplace in that range for a lot of years people thought he was just a teenager and he was up in his twenty's but he does look fairly young for him and he had He's rocking the man but thing you know that Ok that's all right no not the 2 like whatever man looks fairly good I mean by didn't realize how long his hair was until he took the man by the down and he's caught shoulder length hair which considering if you know me I've got really short hair particularly on one side and he's like what happen to your hair and I'm like well I don't know what's going on with yours and you think his hair dye went. Rubel it's shoulder length hair which is the longest I've ever seen it sometimes it's just it throws you a little bit when you expect them maybe to have a little bit shorter hair I got this great tune coming up next it's from Sam Smith like I can use. It could be a range. Of You. If you. Go. Like. Sam Smith. Right here on Forces Radio Piaf Yes I was little late for this one but we're going to do anyway 2 students from the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge have been donating their time in exchange for vital work experience at the airborne assault museum that's furred Josh White and Sam steed are both 20 and in the 30 year history degrees Sharon Robson spoke to the lads initially asking Josh how they both convolved at the start of 1st year one of our lecturers he has a link with someone who works there and he said if you want to get involved then sends an email so I mean songs here in Iraq and we get about a person touch with the curator and it just came under really so that was in your 1st year when you're not here so over the last couple years well sorts of things if you've been involved in well bit of everything really putting stuff on the online catalog we've been dressing up mannequins past like a month and a bit now we've been working on our own display that's going to go in a museum can you tell me much about that always is still in the planning stages Yeah it's mostly like things about equipment drops so gentle 2nd World War how they used to get quit of that they needed to the front line so we've been doing info placards and we've also got some equipment are going to arrange in a museum and some just to ask you as well you know did you have a lot of interest between the add on forces before you came in what we always thought particularly but I was interested in military history in general so then when I. Found out it was an opportunity to come down to the Oxford and actually get hands on with some of the care to respond my interest and then I came down and over secret working with John and Bob It really does develop your interest in the open forces so in that also 23 years will have been some of the highlights for you the most interesting things were going down to coaches the and seeing the backs down there and then actually looking at Reserve collection with all the weapons and stuff like that the real highlight will be our display we're about to do so the penny display is going to central case and you can hands on in the mat in the in the museum actually display mannequins things are really great because you can actually see your work building paradise or as well so the online catalog and build in the op has been great because you get thank yous from families and stuff like that do you include this in any part of the course well yeah I'm sure we would do because we've learnt obviously a particular rotten stomach from here by as we've put up stuff on the website but really the experience we get from a place like this is a practical experience and I think that's so crucial and then I mean I want to be a curator Mona on taking the skills I'm learning here especially from John and going to hopefully development later so it hasn't made either of you just hasn't she may do you think actually when I finish university I would really like to join the party regimen maybe not the Parachute Regiment I've definitely thought about I think are going to the area because I was in the act at Savoy is I suppose the interest of the us yeah it's definitely interesting like seeing other people who've been in the past regiment and hearing what they have to say about that time and when you went on to coach or when you've been Ok it's a new volunteer Steve have you met any of the serving Parachute Regiment soldiers we've met a couple who they come down to the museum and when the involved the talks around what they've got and then me and Sam get to tag along say in between walking between only from bats we sort of get say hi and learn a bit about what they do than anybody else was this into this and they were looking about volunteering would you recommend this to us absolutely it's been a crazy experience it's been great Bob and John taking us under their wing as it were and really developing us as people it's great to have something on your c.v. You need that cutting edge these days because it's so competitive and putting this on there is invaluable experience I'm. Alan Robson the b f b s That was. To There are Alberta adds that. Not love or death Piaf b.s.
