So thats an example of medal of honor winner with great valor, got in anyway and rescued his buddies but a lot more people died at the necessary because that kind of support was denied. The other thing is, i think its important to remember for planners in the military that theres a lot more counterinsurgency to be done in history than really conventional wars. You know, the generals want to buy tanks and fighter planes and big ships, but sometimes its best just finding a good read and training a guide to get it done. Time for about one more question.
