So ultimately, this is something that will get done under President Trump. Is it something republicans have long said theyre going to do now that they have the numbers to do it, it will get done. Its going to take a while. Theres a lot of core things that republicans all agree on that need to be in the replacement plan. Its going to take a while for a consensus in the house and senate with President Trump of what that replacement plan is going to look like. This is going to take a while to get a consensus. I think that entire notion that republicans have to embrace comprehensive immigration reform, that comes from the left. That comes from the mainstream media. I dont necessarily think as evidenced by this most recent election that that is an idea that republicans have to embrace to appeal to hispanic voters. When i look at the polls, most americans want immigration reform. They want Border Security and protection as well. Good for the u. S. Economy. Its good for the people in mexico who are trying to come over here illegally and risking their lives and children getting damaged and harmed and abused. Americans want immigration reform.
