Baby girl . Miracle survivors, three people rescued alive from the rubble in nepal eight days after that devastating earthquake. And big money mistake. A man cashes in his Lottery Ticket taking home 75. But turns out he should have left with 75,000. And now the search is onto find him. May 3rd 2015. This is today with lester holt and erica hill live from studio 1a. Good morning. Welcome to today. Hi everybody. Back from the derby. It was nice. Got a little fried in that kentucky sun. It was fun. Interesting thing, though celebrities that made their way to the derby made their way to the fight. Weve got beyonce and jay z just to name a few tlnchts. Theres tom brady. The airport was packed with private jets traffic jams. Actually, maybe you shouldnt because of traffic jams. Amazing. That fight is the top story on this sunday morning. Mayweather and pacquiao very wealthy men. People who paid to watch the fight are feeling a little ron, good morning. Reporter there was so much demand last night to see this fight that they actually postponed the opening bell because a lot of providers around the country had a hard time processing those pay per view orders. The fight was so big they delayed the start of the fight. Lets take a look. After a fiveyear wait for the fight of the century, rush hour. Fans clutching the hottest tickets on the planet streamed in to watch history. Oh say does that reporter proved appointment viewing around the world, Michael Jordan tom brady, jay z and beyonce among those in attendance. Social media abuzz too. 90 to fight their Cable Company one tweet read as some pay per view orders never made it home to viewers. Once the bell sounded the sports top two brand names delivered punches of excitements. And in the end mayweather was the obvious victor at least according to judges scoring a unanimous decision that seemed to confuse pacquiao. I thought i won the fight. He was applying inging pressure but wund wasnt landing any punches. This should have been an epic fight and it was not. After the fight, mike tyson, the former heavyweight champion joining in. He said this fight was a big dispaymentdis disappointment we waited five years for that. A rematch is not happening here in vegas this morning. Even if these two climb back into the ring chances are this second fight would not be nearly as big as this fistfight, the socalled fight of the century. Sorry for wasting 100. And you slept through it . Slept through it. So happy. Look how rested i am. So we moved onto talk about the most watched baby in the world, check her out, the Little Princess sleeping quietly in the arms of kate. Now that she is home, the big question is what are her parents going to be naming her . Kelly, good morning to you. Reporter good morning, tom. Yeah, today the family visits here at Kensington Palace. Kates mother and zitssister headed up the drive. When george was born a name was announced. But the queen isnt even in london right now, leaving us all guessing. She is the first princess of cambridge in 182 years, barely ten hours old when the world got its first glimpse. They looked real pi happenly happy. The other star of the day, big brother, prince george. He was the first and only visitor earlier at the hospital practicing his royal wave before going inside to meet his sister. Royal fans celebrated the fairy tale family. Landmarks glowed pink. Tourists lined up for their own piece of history, a picture of the official announcement. I feel quite privileged to be part of it. Reporter the big question now, what will she be named . Diana will feature somewhere within the name hopefully, which will be a lovely tribute. Most bets are on a parenrincess alice or charlotte. But she could be an elizabeth like her great grandmother, the queen. Shell be the most watched princess in the world. We are now fascinated by everything this young princess wears, does. Reporter now its diapers, long naps and very proud parents. And the special song played during the changing of the guard. They played isnt she lovely this morning at buckingham palace. Everybodys get into this name game today, with ellen actually tweeting princess Winifred Ellen of the sure. She has her brothers cheeks. Just want to squeeze them. Thank you so much. Robert, nice to have you with us this morning. Were hoping you can give us a little insight into this name. Is there a sense, though of anyone that the duke and dutchess are hoping or feel they should name the baby after . Reporter i think they want to look at the little baby, get to know her for a little while before they have a name. They did that with george. Its not so much pressure i think, because its the second born child. Alice, charlotte. My favorite would be princess may, born in may as well. Or even princess erica. You never know. I think thats an excellent idea. Spell it with a c. The middletons were there this morning. Is there a hierarchy of who can visit . Or is it whatever grandparent is available . William and kate have thrown a lot of the patrolrotocol things out the window. The queen is the great grandmother. She was the first to be notified because she is the head of state. And its about charles and to a lesser extent kacamilla. She may well see her great grandchild later when william and kate go up to the east of england. Really theyll be looking to leave and spend as much time at Kensington Palace as possible. Robert, we have to leave it there. We couldnt ask you if there is the last or if there are more on the way. And to be a fly on the wall youre right. Its just casual a lot of people are talking about this this morning and just how quickly kate was able to go home from the hospital. Theyre also talking about how beautiful she looks. Is it weird that im more blown away by kates hair than by the Baby Princess . Its safe to assume that princess kate just gave birth to a tennis ball in a hair salon. This is social media. We have to complain a little bit. I do think she should have come out in her pjs, make up free and with her hair up. Thank you princess kate for giving me Unrealistic Expectations for my hair after giving birth. I think if you have the team go for it. Why not . We reported on the fact that people praised her because she had a little bit of a bump and its normal to have this bump. This year i dont know what the deal is. Just embrace that beautiful moment of a happy family with a healthy new baby. And when the little guy came out and waved at everybody. We look forward to finding out what the name is. Turning our attention back to this country, hopes high in baltimore that the city has reached a turning point. After another night of calm protest, a gathering turned into a celebration after the sixth officers reporter another relatively peaceful night with only a few arrests reported for curfew violations. Activists see this as a positive moment when they have the nations attention to improve the lives of baltimores poor and minority residents. They called it a victory march to take back the streets. Then marching to city hall. We are peaceful citizens marching for productive change in the city. Reporter the rally turned out to be as much a party as it was a protest, with a long list of what people here need. Justice, jobs stop the violence and the drug killing. Reporter thousands of police and National Guard troops remain on duty still enforcing a curfew that many say has become unnecessary. I would love to see the curfew ended. Reporter businesses are shut losing money. Since grays death, fatally injured while riding unrestrained in a police van, more complaints have emerged about socalled rough rides. They sort of tossed me in the back of the paddy wagon. Reporter christine was arrested after a disturbance at her home during a party in twelve. They were braking really short, stuff like that. Reporter she claims she was injured and has a lawsuit pending. Baltimore has paid millions of dollars to settle similar lawsuits. The rough ride concept is well known on the streets and in the community. Its a form of police retaliation. When asked about the alleged Practice Police said they do not tolerate that kind of behavior. Marylands governor has called for a day of peace and prayer. Crowds gather once again here in the city. Unclear when the National Guard will leave, when the curfew and state of emergency will be lifted. Officials here taking it one day at a time. Chuck, good morning to you, all eyes have been on baltimore this week. I know you had an exclusive sit down with john boehner. Reporter do you believe were in a National Crisis when it comes to Law Enforcement . I do. When you look at whats happened over the course of the last year youve just got to scratch your head. And when you hear these charges have been brought reporter charging homicide. Public servants should not violate the law. If these charges are true its outrageous and unacceptable. We know there will be a hearing later this month on Law Enforcement accountability. Do you think theres enough muscle on capitol hill right now to get legislation on this issue . Reporter im skeptical. Ill be honest. It seems as if you wouldnt so consensus on this. And now the republican speaker of the house so the fact that you do have some bipartisan consensus in at least identifying the problem. And i asked him when it comes to body cameras on cops youre probably going to need some federal money. He didnt commit to that but he said look we have a lot of Police Grants implied you use those to try to fund this. Im skeptical because you always have to be skeptical to consensus on capitol hill. I know you have the former governor of maryland as your guest. On the left for president , we know that the right side of things is really filling up with republican announcing their runs tomorrow. We can see them there. Mike huk Chris Christie and bridge gate do you think he can reimage himself enough to find big supporters . Reporter honestly, you couldnt have worse timing for him. This is when you attract the type of supporters that can round up more support for you. The timing couldnt be worse. I dont know how he could recover from this. Maybe through his force of personality. That may be all he has as an asset. Well have much more on the situation in baltimore with the mayor and former governor of that state. Good morning to you guys. Officials say three survivors were found just hours ago in nepal, eight days since the devastating earthquake. Theyve been taken to a Military Hospital for treatment. Businesses with surveillance cameras are being asked to turn over any footage of vandals to help police. Soccer teams kicked up their protests this weekend against Secondhand Smoke coming onto their field from nearby levi stadium. Players put on masks to show their opposition to smoke coming from people who attended a concert at levis. They complained to city officials for weeks about Secondhand Smoke, but the problem only goes away temporarily. The 49ers says the smoking section has been moved for all events, but the soccer groups dispute that and they say the smoke is still a major problem. We wanted to start our celebration early. So all week long we are showing you some tributes to our moms as we share some of the lessons theyve taught us over the years. Oh, this was a treat when i found out we were doing this project. Earlier this week i had a chance to do Something Special for my mom. I couldnt wait for her to have this moment as we put her front and center on broadway. I think my mom has a real gift for connecting with people. And we all can connect with people in different ways. And hers is music. You just cant go on i grew up listening to my mom sing in church. Shes a drama teacher. Okay you guys what does this say . In a flutter. I wanted to do Something Special. I wanted her to take this stage on broadway because to me this is where she belongs. Im so excited. I hardly have words. And thats very unusual. A great big right now were walking backstage, stage left. You can see some of our props. Theres a quote that says music talent to build the hopes and dreams of others. I think my mom does that. This is the dressing room. Mom has always encouraged me to dream big and shes never said that i cant do something. If you can think it you can dream it. Sheinelle is a smart, beautiful, wonderful woman. It gives me a humble, proud feeling. Oh, my gosh. I think when shes on that stage, shes able to be larger than life. People love music theater because it speaks to the soul in a way that sometimes words cant. And that, to me, is her gift. Somewhere over the rainbow way up high theres a land that i heard of once in a lullaby my mom has taught me to be strong. Shes taught me to be confident. Not be afraid to ask questions. Shes taught me the importance of knowing your purpose in life. All of those things that you cant see, but you can feel. And honestly i think thats why music is so special for both of us. Why then oh, why cant i sometimes youre sitting in a theater and listening to someone perform on stage and you feel it and you feel grateful and you love life. You have a passion for life. That is what shes all about. Happy mothers day, mom. How nice. Im so happy that we all were able to do these projects. Listen its a blessing to have a mom. I know a lot of people watching may not have their mothers, so i dont take it for granted. And agents and producers out there watching there you go. Shes available. Middle school drama teacher.
