This Morning Police are on the lookout for a man who sexually assaulted a woman near the College Campus in the south bay. Janine de la vega is joining us with a description of the suspect. Reporter the attack happened on franklin street and as you can see its right here on the edge of the campus of santa clara university. Its unknown if the female assaulted was a student but regardless police want people to be cautious and aware. Police released the sketch of this man who they say sexually assaulted a woman on wednesday. A man approached her and then attacked. After he sexually assaulted her, police say he ran away. Campus security has sent out an alert to students and staff making them aware of what happened. This is the third attack that has happened to a woman in the last month and a half. A couple of blocks away a student was battered by a man. And in late july a woman was raped as an at this point police say fit doesnt appear that any of these incidents are connected in this case police are describing the suspect as being six feet to 62 tall weighing 200 pounds with an athletic build. We also dont know how many more areas are threatened or structures could be possibly in the fire lines path. What we do know they have been battling the really tough conditions from the dry winter, the steep terrain, and access has been very difficult. The growth of the fire has got to be very frustrating because over night they were really hoping to make progress. It creeps at night. The fire led to the decision to cancel a popular bluegrass Music Festival planned for labor day weekend. The government may ask for help outside the United States to help battle the wild fires. With large wild fires burning in the yosemite area and up in idaho firefighters and resources are stretched thin. The u. S. Wild Fire Services is now considering asking canada for reenforcement.
