This morning, a defined defense of his attorney general. President trump calling Jeff Sessions an honest man after the revelations sessions as a senator ambassador, but didnt disclose it at his confirmation hearing when asked about campaign contacts. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in the campaign and i didnt have communications with the russians. Now i should have said i did meet one official a couple of times. Well, i did a production of it i dont know how many years ago, over ten. At the kennedy center. And we couldnt bring the production in because there was a production already coming in. And then there was a production after that. And so i thought well, thats pretty much it. Only so many productions of glass menagerie that could be brought into broadway. Thats because sam gold really incredible young director on broadway now, and off broadway as well. He wanted to do it. And so thats how this happened. This isnt everybodys glass menagerie. Let me put it this way. He said something amazing about you rehearse the hole 24 hours a day. He thinks by the time you get to the theater you have done it in the living room many times. Do you go into the role like that . Oh, sure, i think we all do. Its such a massive piece. And complicated and sam has taken sam gold has taken a very complicated play and made it even more complicated. So how do you get through that eight times a week . I dont know. Well find out. Its a challenge. You said a second ago raising kids on another coast. You kind of became bicoastal not long ago. Yes. From what i have been reading, you took to new york you put it like a college freshman. What have you soaked up of this city so far . Just as much as i can. It is its that i grew up on the west coast obviously in los angeles and the valley and all those places. It takes so ng isolated. It has great things about it, but in new york i can walk down the street and go to the museum or i can go to the theater by myself or i can theres its just a different community. A couple of different kinds zucchini, squash, onions and garlic and theres few things as good as the smell of garlic sauteing in your house. Youre going to cook this until it gets soft. Dont want to brown it or youre good. Come up front here, you have your cooked veggies. You can add a a store purchased marinara sauce. Another thing to do, get a can of crushed tomatoes and just saute that up. Any kind of spaghetti sauce will work. If you used the crushed tomatoes theres less sugar in there. You saute up the basil and let it get nice and toasty. For the filling, take ricotta cheese, eggs, salt and pepper. What if you find yourself halfway through and you dont havanrittchse cottage cheese will work too. Then you throw pepper in. Mix that up. Nice, almost like cheese batter dough. Now you have your noodles that have cooled off a little bit. I understand the noodles, dont cook all the way so its going back in to bake. Continue cooking, got it. Put some sauce in. Put a layer of your lasagna down. Then youll put some noodles and take the mixture here. Is it okay to overlap the noodles . You can. But theyll expand a little bit too. Do this layer by layer. How many layers do you want in your tray there . As deep as your dish is. Then youll take the fantastic sauce. That did you use here . Thats what i want. The tomatoes yeah, crushed tomatoes. I love them. And then a little bit parmesan. Just layer, layer, layer. You get to this point where you have it all filled up. Take your mozzarella. Put that on the top. All right. How much longer do you need to bake it for . Cover it up with boil. 40 minutes at about 400. Then you take the foil off, let it cook another ten minutes. Youre going to e get that nice crisp amazing.
