prosecution. a spokesperson for d.c. police says they're looking into it. tonight a u.s. marine killed at a party in baltimore. baltimore police were called to a house for a report of a fight. and they found darrius ray. he had been stabbed several times. medics rushed the man to the hospital where he died. police expect to make an arrest. georgia county police are on thehunt for two men who robbed a restaurant that happened this morning. the men showed up at the back door wearing chipolte uniforms and took money. they took off after that. hundreds of people came to a church to remember the people of haiti. they held a memorial mass this afternoon for victims of the earthquake. they are in contact with relief workers in haiti. he's hearing a lot about the pain and suffering there. >> first there is the obvious loss of loved ones and people having to deal with those who died or are still missing. then there's the certain level of despair that sets in when they see the devastation around them and they begin to try and anticipate what would happen next. >> archbishop whirl has asked all in the area to take up special collections for the quake victims. he says he is overwhelmed by the help they received so far. a short time ago, a miracle is just what may have happened. rescuers pulled a 23-year-old man from the rubble of a fruit and vegetable shop. he is alive and doing fine. we look at the loss in haiti and small victories. >> reporter: many of haiti's dead are bury without ceremony. a day of mourning for the archbishop and a vicker. archbishop dolan are paying respects. the 21-year-old man defies the odds. a rescue team finds him alive after ten days. hope floats in the form of the u.s. naval ship comfort. three football fields long with 12 operating rooms little bit after break which is kind of nice. the good news is it's going to stick around just a little while longer. >> then what cos? >> take a look is is a shot of monument. today hopefully people got out and ran their errands and did what they needed to do outside because tomorrow you are not going to want to be outside in the weather at all because we're getting some major changes coming our way. it was mild today. take a look at the temperatures. above seasonal. 47 degrees officially at national airport. the same at dulles. 42 degrees at baltimore. and that trend is going to stick around as i mentioned for at least a little while. right now temperatures across the area, we're at 40 degrees at d.c. 36 at baltimore. 35 in annapolis. we've got 39 degrees at frederick. as we take a look at the mid- atlantic, take a look at boston at 31 degrees. 38 degrees for new york city. so we're seeing pretty much the same trend as far as the mid- atlantic is concerned. as i said we do have some changes that are headed our way. for tonight increasing cloud coverage just about everywhere. we're not going to see very much in terms of clear skies. temperatures will be into the low to mid-30s overall across the area. so let's take a look now at national temperatures because that's going to be an influence on our weather. we already checked out the mid- atlantic. look at the cold pool of area overthe northern plains. that's quad gradually going to move our way. before it does, we get the benefit of what's to the south with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. this warmer air is going to continue to move in and we're going to at least get to enjoy some of that. in the meantime increasing clouds across our area. let's take a look at radar. we're going to show you what is heading our way. we've got this frontal system with a low pressure system associated with it over the northern plains. ahead of it a line of heavy rainfall. and that front is going to move its way towards the east as we head into tomorrow into monday. and with it we're going to see a leading line of precipitation but as it crosses, a heavy amount of rainfall as well. let's look at trueview. we'll show you the rain associated with it right now. in this we could see a storm or two popping up south and east of the i-95 corridor. it's going to produce a fair amount of heavy rainfall. we've talking about an inch of rainfall per hour across our area. average anywhere from 2 inches to locally 3 inches of rainfall before it's all said and done. let's go back to our weather maps then. that is going to move its way through as i said into sunday and monday. we do have a flash flood watch in effect from sunday afternoon to monday morning. some of our models are showing it will be out of the way by the time we hit monday morning before sunrise and other models are showing things just a little bit differently. here's futurecast. here's one of the models. it starts to move in in the early hours of sunday. by the time we get into the middle part of the afternoon, heaviest rainfall will start to head in into tomorrow afternoon. this model has it out of here as we move into the early part of monday as well. we'll have to watch that closely in terms of the timing. it will be heavy rainfall. winds will be picking up as well. we're talking gusty winds but it will at least be a mild day. for tonight mainly increasing clouds. for tomorrow keep the umbrella handy. you'll need it. heavy rainfall. flash flood watchness effect. if you have any gutters that need to be cleaned with leaves in them, make sure you clean them out before tomorrow or you could have some major problems. we'll cool down as well as we move into the rest of the week with a ridge of high pressure. tomorrow is a total washout. >> i made the mistake of not cleaning a drain once. it turned into a flood. caught on camera. an ambulance in the middle of its own emergency. it crashed through the front of a store. heavy steel beams fell and the front ever the building crumbled. the fire chief says the ambulance wasn't speeding but nonetheless the driver was given a ticket. the store owner says it's not the first time there's been an accident at this busy intersection. president barack obama is out for a little weekend of basketball as a spectator. the president and first lady spent saturday morning watching their youngest shoot some hoops. sasha played a game in chevy chase. she seems to be a -- seems to be growing into a basketball enthusiast just like her dad. president obama asyou've probably seen right here on fox 5 occasionally shooting hoops on the weekend. from basketball to baseball. today baltimore orioles fans, they pitched in to help the haiti relief effort. the orioles held its annual fan fest. they asked fans to donate money during the event. no word on how much was raised. the orioles are just one team of athletes playing a part in the relief effort. the players have committed over a million dollars. >> that is going to go a long way. someone who was on the ground there told me a dollar will get you a loaf of bread, probably a gallon of water and maybe some fruits and vegetables. >> we take it for granted one dollar. but all over the world for people that means so much more. you mentioned alonzo morning. he's one of basketball's great who played at georgetown. >> no doubt some
