Reporter Charles County Sheriffs Office just left the scene behind the amc Movie Theater here in waldorf, and you can see where the shooting right behind the Movie Theater. It was around 8 00 this evening, and we are told a man in his late teens or early 20s was with a group of friends here behind the theater, and then he was approached by the suspect, and the pair started to talk, and then somewhere during that conversation, the suspect then took out a gun and shot the victim, and now at this point, the motive to the shooting is unclear, and also the relationship between the shooter and the victim is unclear. We can tell you the victim was flown to the hospital, and hes in ic office here, and the witnesses on the scene, however, were able to give a good description of the suspect, and shortly after, police were able to detain the man nearby the scene, and they are questioning him to see if hes a suspect. He is the suspect in this case. Now its important to note that no one was hurt inside of the Movie Theater, and this entire shooting was confined to the backpackerring lot behind the amc.
