Union County Government : Adopt-A-Park Volunteers Conduct Cleanup In Union County's Passaic River Park

The Berkeley Heights Environmental Commission organized a team to tackle debris in the Berkeley Heights section of Union County's Passaic River Park.

Union County, NJ – A section of Union County's Passaic River Park received a sprucing-up from an all-ages team of volunteers organized by the Berkley Heights Environmental Commission last weekend, as part of Union County Adopt-a-Park program. The volunteers removed trash, scrap metal, tires, and other debris from a trail that runs through a section of the park between Station Street and Summit Avenue in Berkeley Heights.
The team included local residents and officials including Berkeley Heights Mayor Angie Devanney, members of the Berkeley Heights Township Council, and Union County Board of Commissioners Chairman Alexander Mirabella.
