Woman was on her way to buy fentanyl when she caused fatal crash: police

Krystin Marchese told investigators she was in heroin withdrawal, had taken two Xanax that was not prescribed to her and was trying to drive from the Duncannon area to New Cumberland to buy fentanyl when she caused a fatal, four-vehicle pileup Tuesday, according to court records.
The Lexus driver, 58-year-old Lee Potteiger, of Lewisberry, died as a result of his injuries. The local fisherman had been towing a boat, that then came loose from the trailer and fell onto other vehicles.
In all, five people were hurt in the crash, according to police.
