February great time to support ‘Love Luggage’ project Children Services LIMA – Allen Lima Leadership Class of 2006 will fill 120 bags this year with hygiene, toys and other personal items to be given to children that Allen County Children Services removes from their homes for safety reasons. Each year children are removed from unsafe homes. Some are the children of parents addicted to opiates, others have been abused, and some are living in dangerous or unsanitary conditions. The children often arrive at Allen County Children Services with a few belongings stuffed into a garbage bag. Many have nothing more than the clothes they wear.
