BENNINGTON, Vt. June 1, 2021 Southwestern Vermont Health Care s (SVHC) Medical Matters Weekly with Dr. Trey Dobson, a weekly interactive, multiplatform medical-themed talk show, will feature Anore Horton, the executive director of Hunger Free Vermont on its June 9 program. Hunger Free Vermont is a statewide advocacy, education, and technical assistance nonprofit dedicated to ending the injustice of hunger and malnutrition for all Vermonters. The show will air at 12 p.m. Horton will reflect on her organization s initiatives toward food security and food security work happening throughout the state. BENNINGTON Emma Weiskopf, MD, a neurologist with Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Neurology, will be featured on the June 2 episode of "Medical Matters Weekly with Dr. Trey Dobson," a
ExpressCare is newly relocated to 120 Hospital Drive. It shares space with the Respiratory Evaluation Center, which features negative-pressure air exchange throughout. The new facility also has a dedicated parking area, a larger waiting area, larger and more exam rooms. As always, the practice offers X-ray and blood draw. No appointment is necessary, and COVID-19 vaccines are available to everyone ages 12 and older regardless of state of residency. The practice will administer Pfizer s COVID-19 vaccine to those 12 – 18 and Johnson & Johnson to those 18 and above. Everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
The show will air at 12 p.m. Dr. Weiskopf will reflect on her career serving patients with migraines, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson s disease, and other conditions of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. Dr. Weiskopf received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and served as chief resident 2005 – 2006 before going on to a fellowship at New York University Medical Center 2006 – 2007. Dr. Wieskopf had been an attending neurologist at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts 2008 – 2019. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
