Led by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President & MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, a delegation of the Congress party met Chief Electoral Officer Shashank Goel at the latter’s office on Saturday urging him to take action against the ruling TRS party for violating Model Code of Conduct in the MLC elections.
Speaking to media persons after meeting the CEO, Reddy, along with ex-MLA Marri Sashshidhar Reddy, Hyderabad City Congress president Anjan Kumar Yadav and other leaders, alleged that the TRS leaders have indulged in various electoral malpractices and irregularities to lure voters in the MLC elections. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Friday termed the 29% fitment to employees bogus and a trap by the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to deceive the employees yet again.
Speaking to the party workers and leaders live on social media platforms on Friday, he said the Chief Minister did not announce Interim Relief even after three years of formation of Pay Revision Commission and took no action even a month after the submission of the PRC report. However, in view of elections, he held a secret meeting with union leaders and leaked information that 29% fitment would be announced after MLC elections. He warned that if employees trust KCR and vote for TRS in MLC elections then they would not get even 29% fitment once the elections are over. Employees can make their voice heard strongly and put pressure on the government by electing the Congress candidates only.

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Pradesh (TPCC) President & MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy exhorted employees to revolt against their union leaders for betraying their cause.
He was addressing a series of meetings in Nalgonda and Hyderabad on Wednesday in connection with the MLC election campaign for Congress candidate Sabavath Ramulu Naik (Hyderabad-Ranga Reddy- Mahabubnagar). Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkatreddy and other senior leaders also addressed the meeting at Laxmi Gardens in Nalgonda.
Reddy accused the union leaders of mortgaging the interest of employees for personal gains. He said that the union leaders were acting like TRS leaders while treating the employees as their slaves. Pradesh Congress Committee president and Member of Parliament from Nalgonda, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday appealed to employees to take on their association and union representatives “for pledging employees’ rightful causes to KCR.”
