ST. GEORGE, Utah â A crash in St. George Tuesday afternoon sent three teens to the hospital, including one by helicopter, after an SUV carrying seven juveniles rolled multiple times, according to a
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover reported off of Navajo Drive near where the road divides into Hollow Washington Road, a rugged area approximately 10 miles east of Apex Mine Road. A Mercy Air helicopter was also dispatched to the scene to assist, St. George Fire Chief Robert Stoker said.
The first shipments of COVID-19 vaccinations have been delivered to Utah Valley Hospital and the LDS Hospital, and Logan Regional Hospital will be following suit soon â perhaps even by Thursday.
âWeâre working on a distribution plan right now,â said Sarah Fitzgerald with Logan Regional. âWe could be getting it to our caregivers as early as Saturday or even next Monday, just depending on when the vaccine actually gets here, and so thatâs awesome news for us. Weâre super, super excited about that.â
The news was described as âa light at the end of the tunnelâ and âthe beginning of the endâ by Dr. Eddie Stenehjem, an Intermountain Healthcare infectious diseases physician, in a press conference on Monday.

RAW: First COVID-19 vaccine shipment arrives at Utah Valley Hospital
SALT LAKE CITY Two Utah hospitals received the first round of COVID-19 vaccine doses and will begin to administer the vaccine Tuesday, Intermountain Healthcare officials said Monday.
The vaccine has already arrived at Intermountain s LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City and Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, said Dr. Kristin Dascomb, Intermountain Healthcare medical director of infection prevention for employee health.
Intermountain Healthcare officials originally said Monday morning that they believed the vaccine would be administered to health care workers Wednesday afternoon but adjusted that timetable Monday evening to Tuesday afternoon as a result of progress in scheduling caregivers. The first vaccinations will take place at LDS Hospital.

Receiving the vaccine, one nurse said, âis going to help me treat my patients with more kindness and hope.â
