Samsung has been making earbuds for a number of years but the Buds Pro come packed with new features including improved ANC which now switches off the minute the user begins speaking.
Getting the earbuds to understand exactly who is talking is one of the features Moon is most proud of but was also a difficult feature to master. One of the biggest challenges was to make sure it only recognises the voice it s supposed to recognise, explained Moon. What drove us to introduce this new feature is that since the launch of the Buds Live we ve committed to improving the call quality and one of the things we have implemented was a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) which is an accelerator sensor. When the user speaks the energy causes vibrations in your head and the VPU can pick up on those vibrations.
Samsung expands ECG and blood pressure tracking support in Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Watch 3 to 31 more countries
Last year, Samsung introduced the ability to measure Blood pressure and track an Electrocardiogram (ECG) on the Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch 3 for their customers in South Korea. They have now received the required certification to expand the feature support to 31 more countries.
The Samsung Heath monitor, which is the companion app required to measure the blood pressure and track ECG, previously had certification to operate in Korea. The company has since then received a CE-marking in December 2020, which allows Samsung to enable the two features in 28 EU countries and with 3 other countries.

Samsung is moving forward with a steady rollout of blood pressure measurement and ECG monitoring on its consumer smartwatches. After securing regulatory approvals and launching the features in South Korea and the U.S. last year, the tech company announced today that both health monitoring tools will soon be released in an additional 31 countries.
The expansion follows the Samsung Health Monitor app s receipt of a CE mark in December. With this, the company said that it is now permitted to activate the features in 28 European countries, including the U.K. (See the full list in Samsung s announcement.) On top of these, the tech company said that it would also be sending the health-tracking features live in three other countries: Chile, Indonesia and the UAE.
