They deserve cancellation, the former NBA star wrote in the Hollywood Reporter on December 17. Slumbering celebrities, especially conservatives, need to get woke, and they must be pilloried and censored, Abdul-Jabbar demands. In fact, they deserve legacy-killing backlashes for spreading ignorance. Take former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, for instance. He “blathered on in a cringeworthy news conference about unproven conspiracies while black streaks streamed from his hair,” writes Abdul-Jabbar (seen in above photo), who spent his entire career sweating on television.
