Donna Breach
Donna Barbara Beach, 58, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2021. She was born February 19, 1962, to Ray and Geneva Beach.
Donna had a love of horses and had several in her lifetime. She and her partner of 17 years, Charlie Palmer, had great love for their dog, Brie, who is pictured in the photo. Donna was a great cook, an avid reader and a green thumb who made her yard beautiful.
Her dry sense of humor would often come in an unexpected way that would hit your funny bones. Donna had a brutal certain kind of honesty and never sugarcoated anything.
She is predeceased by her parents. In passing, Donna is survived by brother Robert Breach of Eden Mills; sister Helen Stygles and husband Dickie of Westford; sister Rose Dembosz and husband Tim of Quincy, Calif.; sister Michelle Manville and husband Art of Lebanon, N.H.; our family matriarch, Aunt Patsey, of Manchester; her partner, Charlie Palmer, of South Alburgh; and nine nie
click to enlarge Eddie Toney Eddie Toney s first job was at a shoe factory in Littleton, N.H., just over the border from his hometown of St. Johnsbury. It was well into the Great Depression, and Eddie had quit school after eighth grade to help his family; he d never much enjoyed classroom learning anyway. The teenager made $8.75 weekly, until one week when his pay envelope contained just 42 cents. As Eddie told the story, he returned it to his boss, saying, You can use it more than me and was summarily fired. Other than a stint in the army during World War II, Eddie, who died in September of natural causes just four months shy of his 100th birthday, never worked for anyone else again.

Vermont Business Magazine Adrianne Johnson Ross, MHA, was today named Home Health & Hospice’s next president and chief operating officer. She is preceded by Judy Peterson, who is retiring in January 2021 after eight years leading the organization.
Johnson Ross’s appointment is effective immediately. She begins today and will transition into in her new role over the next few weeks.
Johnson Ross has for the past year served as interim chief executive officer/executive director for Pheno Health Technologies, Inc., in Minneapolis, Minn., where she was responsible for a $370 million multi-clinic operations budget and led a team of 250 staff. Prior to her most recent role, Johnson Ross served as director of patient access for Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, and as interim director of Healthcare Operations for B. E. Smith, Inc.
