the democratic incumbent heidi heitkamp. it s fair to say heidi heitkamp is considered probably the most vulnerable democrat in the u.s. senate. we ll see if that holds up. missouri, again, a double-digit state for donald trump in 2016. and the republican he went to campaign many times for is ahead right now. 59.5%. claire mccaskill, the two-term incumbent democrat is down 37.1%. about a third of the vote in, in missouri. boy, that is also a close one. right now, wolf and jake, these are very close contests, and the republicans in a lot of these states where trump did very well, tried to help the republicans, are ahead. very interesting what s going on in the senate. also very interesting what s going on in the house of representatives right now. let s take a closer look at what s happening in the house of representatives. democrats are leading in 27 republican districts right now in races that are still too early to call. democrats must pick up 11

in daps politico briefing, wall street is putting its money where its mouth is. for the past three years, the industry has been vocal about what it feels is class warfare by the white house. now they are fighting back by donating to mitt romney. joining me now is jim vandehai. your political analysis is it s not only 37.1 from wall street to 4.8 million for obama, and obama clearly had the edge four years ago, three years ago, but the difference also is that people are switching over and that you re seeing former obama people now in the romney camp. yeah. 21 different big donors from the financial sector that were with obama in 2008 are not with him this time. they haven t given him a penny. in fact, they have given money to mitt romney in his super pacs. i don t think the fact that romney is getting more from the financial sector than president obama is that shocking. i think what alarms democrats is that the gap is so big and that so many financial sector sort of
landslide, says politico. tell us about it. the numbers are in. our team crunched the number and so far from the financial sector romney getting about $40 million to $5 million for president obama. what s most striking is there s 21 big donors who were with president obama in 2008 who have not given him a penny this time around and are giving money to mitt romney. i think the bigger significance here is that there s so much anger in the business community and now with these outside groups that can not only give that money to romney but to the outside groups and i think the most important story we ve had in the last couple weeks was the piece we did, we talked about the outside groups raising upwards of $1 billion, that s above and beyond what romney is going to do. politics has never seen anything like that. it s largely fueled by these business donors and could have a major, major consequential effect on this election. joe, no big surprise, obviously. we knew this was happening ou
