A virtual fashion show will take place during New York Fashion Week, and air on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. This marks the show's 10th anniversary.
The show features top emerging designers during New York Fashion Week - one of whom is Sello Medupe of local fashion house SCALO.
To mark the occasion, we marvel briefly at six SCALO moments we've appreciated over the past few years.
Founded in 2009, SCALO - the brainchild of Soweto-born Sello Medupe - has consistently represented quality and style.
The local designer's catalogue of work has been described as one that is "underpinned by passion and creativity, fused with the dynamism synonymous with a typical Johannesburg attitude - that of being modern, sophisticated and futuristic."
