When we think of the YMCA, we may visualize a health and wellness facility. But that is only part of the story. Like so many of our community organizations, the real work of the YMCA is found in its commitment to serving those in need.

WAYLAND, MA The Wayland Free Public Library is moving one step closer to a full reopening following more than a year under the coronavirus pandemic.
After Memorial Day weekend, patrons won t have to make appointments to visit during certain days and hours. The step toward a full reopening comes as all coronavirus restrictions lift in Massachusetts on May 29 due to lower infection rates and the proliferation of the coronavirus vaccine.
Starting June 1, patrons can visit the library on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 7:45 p.m. and Fridays from 1 to 4:45 p.m. without an appointment (except for computer time). The library will still hold special hours for seniors on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m., and pop-up browsing events will still be held in the parking lot on Wednesdays.
