An Erie County Common Pleas Court jury handed down a verdict awarding a malpractice victim more than $6 million in damages due to permanent injuries suffered while in the care of the Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.
A jury handed down a $2.5 million verdict in favor of a man who sued an orthopedic surgeon and Stamford (Conn.) Hospital over treatment for a broken leg, The Connecticut Post reported Oct. 2.
