During Monday s virtual regular meeting, the Potter County Commissioners Court is expected to close the sale of a parcel of county-owned property to the Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. In May, the Court voted to allow a broker to manage the sale of the property at 2404 SW 6th Ave.
Per the agenda item, the Court is slated to consider and act upon the closing pursuant to the contract of sale approved on May 11, 2020, and take any other action necessary to close the sale under the terms of the contract.
In correspondence to the Court dated Dec. 7, 2020, ASCA Board President Janye Mayfield indicated the organization provides services to citizens in 26 Texas Panhandle counties, primarily in Amarillo.
