Paul Dennis to celebrate 100th birthday

Paul Dennis will celebrate his 100th birthday on Jan. 23, 2021.
He was born at home on the family farm to Charles and Ida Grace (Spreng) Dennis and was raised in the north Loudonville area attending Greentown school.
Paul married Cordelia Adelene Remy on Sept. 12, 1948 and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage before her passing. Together they lived at their family farm north of Hayesville and had four children: Marcia (Robert) Wagoner, Roger Dennis, Karen (Carl) Bicker and Amy (Jim) Pickering; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Marcia, Roger and one grandchild are deceased.
He started with the agriculture industry by working on the family farm and at the Loudonville Equity. He was a member of the Hayesville-Vermillion Fire Department for many years. He also worked doing custom carpentry and custom farm work. Paul has been a dedicated farmer his entire life, still driving the tractor at 98 and climbing the 5
