A Litchfield County eatery in Connecticut served a star-studded table over the weekend as Gov. Ned Lamont was joined by actor Christopher Meloni for dinner.
Lamont took to social media on Sunday, June 27 to share a picture that he took outside Good news Restaurant and Bar in Woodbury with the “Law and Order” actor, his wife, Ann Lamont, and Meloni’s wife, Doris Sherman Williams, a production designer in Hollywood.
“Enjoyed a fun meal last night at Good News with Sherman and @Chris Meloni, he posted on Twitter. “We talked Law and Order and then some!”
Meloni, who is best known for his role as Elliot Stabler in the “Law and Order” series and has also starred in shows such as “Oz,” “Happy!,” and “Wet Hot American Summer,” responded to the governor following his initial post.
