One of four suspects in the killing of 35-year-old Mountain Home resident Cody Stradford appeared Thursday in Baxter County Circuit for hearing regarding whether she d hired an attorney.
Allison June Cunningham faces charges of first-degree murder, second-degree battery, kidnapping, arson and being a felon in possession of a firearm. She is being held in the Baxter County Jail in lieu of a $1 million bond.
In January, Cunningham appeared in court and told Circuit Court Judge John Putman that she intends to hire an attorney and the attorney she had been in talks with advised her to ask for a bail reduction.

There will be no jury trials in Arkansas until May 1, according to a ruling issued Friday by the Arkansas Supreme Court.
The action to extend the prohibition of jury trials was taken due “to a continued high level of COVID-19 positive tests and hospitalizations,” the court’s order noted.
Through the continuing course of the pandemic, the state’s highest court has scheduled various times for jury trials to resume but pushed the dates back because infection and hospitalization numbers continued to track upward.

Three of the four people now charged in the murder of 35-year-old Cody Stradford have entered not guilty pleas.
Allison Cunningham of Mountain Home who was arrested in Hidalgo County, Texas with another person accused in connection with Stradford’s death, 28-year-old Ryan Lindsey, appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.
Cunningham entered a not guilty plea to charges of first-degree murder, arson, kidnapping, second-degree battery and possession of a firearm by a felon.
She was ordered to reappear Feb. 11.
Cunningham and Lindsey were arrested on Dec. 17 last year. She was returned from Texas and booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on Jan. 13.
