Unfortunately there were 2 young people in the tent minor under 18. Tree branch fell and struck them and unfortunately they died. The campground is packed with tourist from all over the world this time of year. Many of them making reservation year in advance. Upper pines is the especially popular with family because of the Majestic View of half dome. The people for all intents and purposes did nothing wrong. They were in established camp site.
