This was the mall where those rioters smashed glass and looted stores. Baltimores mayor says the open mall gives her hope that her city is beginning to heal. This is just a great day for this community to have the mall reopen. Its a wonderful day. I was proud to support the investments that i think it was the Baltimore Development corporation made into this mall to do the major renovations and to see it bounce back so quickly just gives me a lot of optimism. She faced some criticism even after she announced a short time ago that she is lifting this curfew for the city of baltimore. Many people even on social media say the damage is already done, but the mayor saying she wanted to assess because this was a Public Safety issue and what she wanted to make sure was there was not this replay we saw last week with violence and the rioting.
