Rodolfo Azurin, has lauded Police Regional Office (PRO) Mimaropa for keeping its status as one of the three safest regions in the country. CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro – Police has announced the arrest of a suspected pusher of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation that resulted in the confiscation of P7-million worth of shabu in a subdivision just several meters away from the regional police headquarters here.
Police Brigadier General Nelson B. Bondoc, regional director of Philippine National Police-MIMAROPA (Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) identified the suspect as Larry Dumip-Ig Chua, 46, married, a resident of Blk. 10-G, Lot 3, Phase 3E, Teachers’ Village, Malabon City.
Brig. Gen. Bondoc said the suspect was arrested at about 1 p.m. on August 1 outside his residence at Sitio 3, Sunrise Village, Barangay Suqui, Calapan City by combined elements of Calapan City Police Station and Drug Enforcement Unit of Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office (PPO).
