The Arizona town of Snowflake has two great institutions. The Latter-day Saints temple looms over the landscape, its smooth granite exterior bright in the high desert sun. At the top, a golden angel glimmers in the light.
Across the quiet highway from the temple is a 40-acre greenhouse that locals refer to as "the marijuana farm."

April will be an active month for the Crosslake Ideal Lions as they resume face-to-face meetings and hosting traditional events.
In April, the primary meeting is the annual Roadside Clean-up at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 24. Volunteers will meet at Reeds Market to receive clean-up assignments. Vests and bags will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves. Following the clean-up, Crosslake Ideal Lions will be sponsoring a lunch at Zorbaz to all volunteers.
