The exhibition, which features the work of 50 artists, will be on display through June 5. Gallery hours are 9-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10-2 p.m. Saturdays, or by appointment. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

at 5:15 p.m. and will include local students and community service groups. Artists will be on hand to speak about their motivations and the inspirations behind their work. The event is free and open to the public. Audience members will be invited to interact and ask questions of the artists.
The festival includes fifty 2D, 3D, filmmakers, and live performance artists from around the world. Each artist explores human rights, civil rights, or social justice issues through their respective mediums. In addition to paintings, mixed media works, and photographs, a series of experimental videos are also a part of the festival. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy signed a bill Thursday allocating $15 million in federal COVID-19 relief to arts and culture venues throughout the state.
The bill is part of a $100 million relief effort that aims to help small businesses recover from the pandemic.
Murphy, who signed the bill at the West End Arts Center in Long Branch, Monmouth County, said the aid will help secure the state’s post-pandemic future.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Arts Center) – The Arts Center announced that Jamestown is among 12 recipients of The North Dakota Department of Commerce’s Main Street Initiative Vibrancy grant.
The Main Street Initiative Vibrancy grant is meant to add a spark of activity and energy in communities through North Dakota. The program helps provide small investments in community projects or events that encourage public art, activate underutilized space or promote walking and biking.
“This grant is a great opportunity to inspire others to engage and contribute to their community’s quality of life for both visitors and residents,” Interim Commerce Commissioner Shawn Kessel said.
