Milwaukee, WI, January 2021 – The Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail (FOHAST) are saddened to hear of the passing of Henry “Hank” Aaron. “Hammerin’ Hank” was one of baseball’s greatest players and a man of enormous accomplishments and integrity. He broke many racial and cultural barriers, and the Trail, which connects the diverse neighborhoods of the greater Milwaukee area, exemplifies his legacy. We thank Mr. Aaron and his family for their dedication to our community, and offer our heartfelt condolences.
