The owner of a Virginia house that exploded as police tried to execute a search warrant is believed to have died in the blast, officials said Tuesday, as details emerged about numerous grievances he expressed against neighbors and others on social media and in lawsuits.
Police identified the suspect inside an Arlington, Virginia, home that exploded Monday while police were executing a search warrant of resident James Yoo, 56, and said they are investigating “concerning” posts he allegedly made on social media.
The warrant was served after reports of a flare gun being fired near the house. When police arrived, an occupant shot at them shortly before the explosion.
