BENTONVILLE -- Voters will decide next month whether to approve sales tax measures to expand the county jail and pay the additional cost to operate it.
More than a month after the county began accepting applications, only three local nonprofit groups have applied to Washington County for federal American Rescue Plan Act money.
FAYETTEVILLE -- Nonprofit groups seeking a share of Washington County's $46 million in American Rescue Plan Act money can apply for it beginning Aug. 31.
BENTONVILLE -- The Benton County Quorum Court has spent, appropriated or committed approximately $45.5 million of the $54 million the county received from the federal government in American Rescue Plan funds, according to a county news release.
