I wasnt a corps member but i was a recruiter for a while, so i saw in two years about 400 people come through. I recruited through the Environmental Center and went directly to the Coastal Commission so it definitely was an influence on me joining the coast guard. In the interest of full disclosure i was on the board of directors for the corps and they still do a lot of work in the district. It was instrumental in getting me from a very rough place to even being able to enlift in the coast guard. Thank you both. But its been presented that, and im basing this off of, colleagues, ive got two examples here from notes of a meeting june 4th in 2012 and august 6 in 2012 from the Veterans Affair commission of you looking to get office space inside city hall, also made accusizations of the mayor not supporting veterans because his office wasnt able to offer office space.
