where the francis scott key bridge sits this morning. six people presumed dead and they are shifting to recovery effort this morning. you are watching fox and friends first, i m carley shimkus. todd: i m todd piro. we are piecing together what happened yesterday when a cargo ship struck the pillar of the bridge sending the whole thing crashing into the water and panic erupted. the whole bridge just collapsed. the traffic i can t get to the other side, sir, the bridge is down. todd: live on the scene, connor, what is the latest? that search and rescue effort sadly turned into a recovery effort, coast guard suspending search due to dangerous conditions. they will be back out this morning. we ve seen this video yesterday and last night and officials believe the ship lost propulsion before it slammed into the francis scott key bridge, one of the main supports. the ship were able to six are missing and two were rescued. we re hearing from mexico s consul general
