California fast food workers scored a massive victory after Governor Gavin Newsom signed the law that would raise the California minimum wage for fast food workers to $20 per hour.
California West Hollywood has now adopted a minimum wage for those employers who still do business within the city limits, the city council previously tinkered with different minimum wages based on employer size and set a still higher minimum wage for hotel employees.
Effective January 1, 2023, eight out of eighteen of the required notices informing employees of their employment rights will be updated including the California minimum wage, Family Care and Medical Leave and Pregnancy Disability Leave, Your Rights Under USERRA and Cal OSHA.
