CADL Sets June 1 Reopening For In-Person Browsing

0:53 In a Facebook message, CADL executive director Scott Duimstra says that while patrons will be allowed inside the system’s 13 libraries again, mask requirements will be in effect, with three exceptions. “You’re either fully vaccinated, you’re under the age of 2, or you’re medically unable to tolerate the wearing of a mask," Duimstra explains. Duimstra says resuming in-person browsing had been considered a couple of weeks ago. “That had to be paused due to the uptick in cases in our area," he concludes,  "but as you know, the cases in our area have dramatically started to decrease. Vaccination rates have actually started to increase, and we feel more than comfortable to welcome you back into our spaces on Tuesday, June 1st."
