Parade caravans through Tottenville to celebrate the holidays

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. The South Shore got a taste of Christmas Saturday evening as a holiday parade travelled through Tottenville.
The parade traveled from Arthur Kill Road to the end of Hylan Boulevard, routing through prominent streets, like Amboy Road and Page Avenue.

“A few weeks ago we helped The South Shore Business Improvement District bring Santa throughout the towns,” said Massimo DiDonna, president of The Carl V Bini Memorial Fund whose Rescue 5 fire truck escorted the man in red, “and today we were happy to help Richie Sarnes and the Tottenville community get a special visit from Santa as well.”
